Using Guided Visualisation for Reiki
Learning Objective: Successfully conduct guided visualisation to aid deep relaxation prior to performing a holistic treatment of Reiki.
Relaxing your client for a treatment of Reiki, or any therapy for that matter, is a wonderful skill for your toolbox. As a result of this workshop, you will feel confident in relaxing your client with the use of guided visualisation.
It is important to note that guided visualisation itself, is not a form of therapy. Also, it is not for everyone and therefore, we will look at some necessary precautions.
In addition, the guided visualisation process you will learn is intended to assist your client with relaxing their muscles, and to let go of any stress, or tension. It can also assist some clients in easing anxiety and reducing pain. Once relaxed, the flow of Reiki is unhibited thus, providing a much better treatment.
Finally, I will show you how to tailor guided visualisations for your client thus making it a wonderful, unique experience.
